Face-to-face interactions with managers and board members are the fastest way to grow your business. CAI-CV’s Educational Lunch Programs & Mini Trade Shows are attended by 150 to 220 CAI-CV members. Educational Lunch programs usually take place at Palm Valley Country Club and start with the Mini Trade Show at 11:15 a.m. Educational programs begin around 12:00 p.m. and are finished by 1:15 p.m. when managers and board members are encouraged to go back to the Mini Trade Show. The mini trade shows are typically limited to 30 vendor booths and include a draped six-foot table where business partners and management companies can display marketing materials and meet and shake hands with CAI-CV members.

CAI-CV will be offering two three-hour board basic training sessions for new board members on Saturdays for Valley community board members in the CAI-CV Classroom.
CAI-CV and Desert Cities HOA Council are joining forces to educate community board members. NEW in 2020, you may sponsor a DCHC meeting in Cathedral City or Palm Springs. Meetings are once a month during the third or fourth week. Cathedral City DCHC meets on Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and Palm Springs meets on Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Please confirm the exact dates with the CAI-CV office.

CAI-CV will celebrate, the extraordinary accomplishments of our many PCAM managers who have reached CAI’s highest educational designation. Join PCAM managers for a fun event of cocktails, heavy hors-d'oeuvres, and networking. Proceeds from this event support the CAI-CV Scholarship Fund.
The CID Law Course is offered to all members and is a requirement for CAI designated managers to be certified in California. The courses will be taught in the CAI-CV classroom. (Limit 5)
The Educated Business Partner (EBP) is a nationally recognized distinction from CAI National. Business partners who participate receive a certificate and are granted permission to use the EBP logo in their advertising. (Limit 2)

The Holiday Mixer is CAI-CV’s annual charitable event where our members have the opportunity to support a local charity. The cost of the mixer is underwritten by CAI-CV sponsors. In lieu of a charge to members for attending, participants have the opportunity to donate toys, clothing, gift cards or cash to the sponsored charity.

The Business Partner Committee will sponsor CAI’s Annual Summer Sizzler immediately following CAI’s Educated Business Partner (EBP) class. This summer kickoff event is free to CAI-CV members and guests.
CAI-CV will have nine 2-hour board member workshops that take place on Tuesday nights at 5:30 p.m. in the CAI-CV Classroom for 25-50 community association board members. CAI-CV will also host CAI’s all-day certificate program, the Board Leadership Development Workshop on December 4th and two Board Basic Training sessions on Saturdays. NEW IN 2020, CAICV will pay for and order food for these sessions.
